Very important terms & conditions
The design phase includes up to two rounds of revisions of artwork.
Any further revisions to be charged as an added extra at a cost to be negotiated between the Illustrator & Client.

This phase focuses on character design, colour palette, story boards/ lay outs & typography of all 14 spreads.
Cancellation fees will apply once work has begun.
Illustrator will work to previously agreed dates.

An agreed artist fee must be paid in full before work starts on the design phase.

The design phase must be agreed & signed off before the finals stage can begin.
The finals phase is based closely on the signed off design details agreed in phase one (design phase).
Any significant revisions / redraws after the design phase has been signed off to be charged at a rate negotiated between the Illustrator & Client.
The finals phase includes up to 2 revisions of small details.

Cancellation fees will apply once work has begun.
Illustrator will work to previously agreed dates.
The Illustrator & Client will discuss cover page, back page & endpaper options using favourite elements of the completed spreads. Once designs are agreed these will be completed & approved.
An agreed advance is to be paid on completion of the final stage. Advance meaning, should your picture book be published, once the agreed advance has been recouped the Illustrator will receive the standard 50% royalty of net profits. furthermore, the Illustrator will receive 50% of net profit made on the sales of the artwork in any other formats or licensed rights.

Once payment has been received, the client will receive high resolution print ready files of your beautiful new picture book.
